Throughout the centuries death has been a highly debated issue and yet, paradoxically, is one of the most intriguing mysteries of life, which challenges human imagination each time it is brought into discussion.
To begin with, along the history, and also nowadays, one has to reckon with particular ideas unleashed by certain religious cults or cultures. These groups promote the idea of a life lived in abstinence of all types led to extremes with the hope that the soul would find its eternal peace and happiness after death.
Although, this fact raises another suspicious questions: aren’t they using death just as another way of manipulating the witless mass, since they have no proof that could make people gasp with astonishment in seeing one of their kind returning to relate the “tale”. That would be a believable argument which can only be fiction, at least until now, as long as the laws of the natural contradict the probability.
However, on the other hand, the occurrence of events in one’s life determines some to be indifferent towards this inevitable and obvious part that resolutes our lives, not fretting over the danger that might be on their footsteps when they’re less attentive. From the very beginning of one’s acquaintance with the world death stands aside and awaits every second, minute, day, year, moment to catch you by surprise and from there on, it is all only supposition.
Also it is odd how differently each of us sees death. For instance, in some cultures the mourning is held by wearying white instead of black, some party and some cry, and maybe after all is only a matter of education the way one looks at death from outside the box. But do they feel the same way when their time comes, or they fret and wonder over the ominous action that is about to happen.
Moreover, in some religions death is related to a linking task between the past life and the life one is about to experience, therefore it isn’t regarded as dramatic and decisive here as in other cultures.
Death isn’t always regarded as something ominous, in fact, for some, the picture of an imminent death has meant the beginning of their real life. It is awkward and also refreshing for someone who found his life uninteresting and himself lonely, notunderstood, abandoned, practically on the edge of braking down, who tries to commit suicide and fails. For them the moment when they are about to die they realize that even the misfortunes were happy moments in comparison to inexistence. The fear that we might find nothing after we die, not even spiritually speaking, the curiosity of what may happen next and the perfect illusion that we all have a purpose in life(no matter how small) keeps us alive.
One tries to convince himself all his life that he is special throughout a life-time work, a contribution to the world so that in the end he could realize that he is no more than another passenger, who will be lost in time space and materiel. Eventually we are all just like the stars that die in the universe and another ones are born…it is just the circle of life that never ends.
If the human race comes to an end, there will be another race to replace it, there’s no such thing as DEATH, it is only a regeneration of the system we live in, only the egocentricity could make us believe that death really exists…In the end are we even that much important?
Taking all into account, it is all a game of hide and seek and it is only a matter of time (more or less) until we will disappear forever…or maybe NOT! We shall live, die and see by ourselves if any of these matters, because the only main cause of death is LIFE itself.
We can only confirm that on a physical plane we traverse our existence by haveing a period of self consciousness that is taking place between life and death. Linking to this existance we can claim different hypothesis, namely:
RăspundețiȘtergere1. That which exists are just aparent realities. Nobody has proven untill now that self consciousness continues to exist after death. Life is nothing more than a flicker that traverses the darkness of eternal night. Before birth there was nothing and death is the end of all existance.
2. Another one states that there will never be an answer to the question "is there life before or after death?" because there is no way and there never be any way of comunicating between these planes.
3. This one states that the religious teaching should be accepted, namely that life begins at birth or conception, but it is eternal because man continues it's existance after death. This "after death" existance is dependent on it's behaviour in the physical life.
4. The last one states the survival of the individual human consciuos after death. This isn't stated on any scientific fact, but it is based on a lot of experienced things that stand witness to a misterious existence beyond death.
It is up to you which one do you choose to believe in.
For the sake or argument let's just say there is a heaven. In the movie "The bucket list" it is talked about the egyptian heaven and your admitance would be based upon answering two questions:
1. Have you found joy in your life?
2. Has your life brought joy to others?
What would you answer?
1. I certainly found joy in my life so far and hopefully I will still find joy despite my ups and downs, along my journey.
RăspundețiȘtergere2. As about the joy I brought to others i can't say for sure because i don't know the true feelings one really has, but I can only hope that in acheiving my joy I haven't hurt others and that I also brought at least a true smile on the faces of those that I interracted with. In the end,we all seek happiness and try to achieve it throughout billion different ways each of us perceive happiness differently and there's a thin line between achieving your joy without hurting others and in the best case: while you're on your way to happiness, offernig joy those around you.
how would you answer?
RăspundețiȘtergere1. No. I haven't found it. And if I did, I lost it. I'm too lazy too look for joy in my life. I'm just sitting around waiting for it to find me. :))
RăspundețiȘtergere2. Most certanly not. If anything, it's quite otherwise. I brought pain and suffering to some people that didn't deserve it just so I could acomplish my selfish goals. I did bring little joys, small thigs that made people happy for short periods. If those cound for anything, then I still have a chance to get into egyptian heaven. :P
i think you (in fact all of us) have the whole life ahead of you to figure out what brings you joy and it doesn't have to be the same amount of "something" or the same kind of thing, there is a multitude of things that could change on the course of one's life and bring joy, so DON'T GIVE UP. As about the little joys you said you've btought to others it's a great deal because very often it's the small gestures that make the big differences.
RăspundețiȘtergereP.S.: I think that your main goal shoud be to care about yourself in an altruist way in order not to feel guilty afterwards and therefor unhappy. SO, bringing joy to others should make you feel accomplished, and being accomplished makes you happy which means that your happiness could also be "contagious" on others....it's a neverending circle that from which all of us can benefit;)
pls overlook the spelling/writing mistakes!(i'm tired...)
RăspundețiȘtergereI believe we are still limited in understanding what happens to a living creature after death.
RăspundețiȘtergere(...)but I will make one statement which is: each and every living creature is about surviving period.
P.S. for a small fee I might come back when I die and let you guys know... :-)
RăspundețiȘtergere:))...you should come to let us know for free, you would do something good for the human kind:)):P
